Default Headers and O2 Sensors

I recently installed LG Streets, catted X into Corsa Pace Car exhaust. Sounds great!

No tune yet.

I moved the rear O2 sensors forward with the LG adapters. Of course I now have the CEL because of the no rear O2's. Is it possible to but another pair of rear sensors and clear the codes an not have them return? Suggested brand of sensors?

Trying to put off the tune until new gears and TC.

Thanks.

Yes, you can put back sensors in position. You may not have codes after that. I am running LG pros with all four positions functioning. I have had the car tuned though. Before tuning I had some trouble with the front positions turned out to be the sensors had failed. Some people have noticed premature sensor failure after header install. I would definately take the car to a tuner.

I have all 4 sensors in with no tune (yet) Haven't got a code, but I have been told it has to go through a drive cycle 60-100 miles. I'll have to wait and see. Until I get a tune I will just delete the code with my predator

I am looking for rear O2 sensors for the same reason. If you find a set of good O2 sensors at a good price please let us know as well.

I also have the LG Street Series with HF Cats and X-Pipe going into Z06 Ti's. I run 4 of the rear 02 sensors and have yet to get a code and I have not had it tuned yet and it runs great. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies.

I guess I will try the stock replacements for the rear O2 sensors. I'll let you know how that works out.

I also have 2 sensors that seem to have failed pretty quick after upgrades. I am buying 2 new ones today, let me know how this turns out for you.

Not sure how much the adapters cost you, but I'd suggest putting the rears back where they came from and reinstalling the fronts. Why not do that and see if you get codes? It can't hurt and won't cost you anything. Also, another option versus the full tune (IF you get a light due to the O2's) is a mail order tune from ECS. A whopping $149.00. They can turn off the rear O2's for you and add 15 or so RWHP to boot...

I have Kooks LT's through stock cats and the Pace setup. I drove the car at least 75 miles prior to my ECS tune with absolutely no issues from the stock O2 sensors.
