Hi,
Does anyone make any sort of a shade to shelter the inside of your car from the head when all you have is the composite top? Also, if I were to paint the top, would that make it much cooler in there or do the painted tops have some sort of insulation in there also?
Thanks

If you are talking about the clear / lexan top there is an aftermarket headliner you can get. It sticks with suction cups and looks good,
If you want to paint it you could consider trading someone with one already painted plus some money because the lexan ones are more valuable. That way no need for painting and you get some money too.
I bought a shade that slides in the top and it sucks. It wouldn't lay flat and waved or would just rub my head. I bought a solid top and it does keep the ride cooler.
Hmm, didnt know the clear tops were in such a demand. They are definately cool and I like having the light come through but it sucks getting in the car sometimes and its about 150 degrees in there. Maybe Ill take the time and re-finish the one thats on my car via the "DIY" section and then get a stick-in headliner that you guys are talking about.
