Emergency Help Needed! Wiper motor install
Now the problem: I can't get the damn wiper blades to act right..
How do I position the control arm actuator on the motor shaft to make the wiper blades move correctly?
I had them working pretty good, but the intermittent paused the blades full up instead of down. It's obviously a geometry problem, but my geometry seems to be backwards at the moment.

Remove both arms. Turn the wiper ON and let it run for a second or two then turn it off. Once its off, THEN reassemble the blades in the correct locations. Test it. Bet it works correctly. When you just turn it on then off, the cam wasn't engaging, so the wipers wouldn't park. The intermittent were all over the place depending on where the motor stopped.
My solution was from another post and it was quite simple.
I turned on the wipers and set it to intermittent. When they paused, I turned off the ignition key. Then I loosened the linkage and turned it so that the cam stop was about 5/8" from the cam and then tightened it. I'm guessing the poster who suggested this, with graphics, got it straight from the GM manual. Anyway, it worked perfectly, and now the system works perfectly.
Woo hoo!
