hud not working
Second, check all fuses in the passenger footwell and the underhood area (by the battery).
Third, if neither of those are the culprit, you'll need to remove the IPC (see instructions listed on Spdkilz.com website or VetteEssentials website). The HUD gets its power from a couple of wire harnesses coming from the sides and top of the IPC. They are friction fit with no locking tabs whatsoever, so it is possible for them to vibrate loose if they're not firmly seated. This could cause the HUD to loose power.
Fourth, try viewing from different angles to see if you can tell if it's still illuminating, but just not centered. I've read several posts from people who've had the adjusting tabs on the HUD mirror break off. In that case, the HUD is still working, but you can't get it aimed correctly. The solution is either a whole new HUD module or to remove the HUD module, disassemble it, and "jerry rig" a new tab using a bolt (glueing the broken tab back on has been tried unsuccessfully). Do a search and you should be able to find info on this. It's not a common problem, but I think I've seen about 2 or 3 posts on it in the last year or two.
If none of this works, it is possible (but extremely rare) that your HUD module may have died.
Let us know what you find. Good luck.
