not cruise'n
wam,bam out of the blue driven the ole 99 vett noticed not as peppy,went to use cruise controle no responce,got home checked fuse it was good,drove it up to the expo in severville and now getting on display service stering lock, if any one might lead me in the right direction to look besides dealership? thank's

The cruise control function happens in the TAC Module. It gets a number of inputs. One of them is the BRAKE SWITCH and CLUTCH Switch. If one of those micro switches is out of adjustment, the cruise control will not activate. Check those first. Try pulling the brake and or clutch peddle back with your foot and then applying the cruise.
