Default Where can I get a 3-4 syncro?

Ok, a while back I bought Fartpipe's busted up tranny and finally got around to rebuilding it.

So after tearing it all down I can see why he had problems getting into 4th gear. The synchronizer teeth are rounded pretty good. I am not sure if I should replace it or not. In the T-56 manual it says that this is normal.

The problem is I can't find a place that sells the 3-4 syncro. I bought the rebuild kit from Gearbox.com, and they have sycnro's for sale, but they only work on F-bodys and Vipers.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I ordered all my rebuild parts from there, they syncros for c5 are not on the website, but they do have them available and everything i ordered was in stock. BTW, rounded syncro teeth is not normal... my 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 syncro were rounded, tranny sucked before and used to grind 2nd unless you were going 5 mph, shifts like butter now

here is a pic of what i am talking about. The leading edge of the teeth that engage the gear are alittle rounded.

You've already gone through the trouble of tearing the tranny down... might as well fix it. You can buy the correct Corvette T56 parts from The Gearbox or RPM Transmissions.

Here is a pic of what the teeth on the slider should look like:

thanx Numb, mine are completely rounded on that last 1/8 of the tooth.

I just called the gear box and they do have the syncro assembly, it is just not advertised on the website.

Yeah, i have it torn down this far and really don't putting it back together if this was the cause of the whole problem to begin with.
