Does anyone know what the widest front tire that can be run with DRM brake ducts is, assuming no stops on the steering column? I shaved off the fiberglass behind the ducts to mount them more flush with the frame, but haven't (yet) reformed them with a torch.
I'd really like to be able to fit a 315/30/18 in front (345/30/19 in the rear, with a mini-tub), but I'm guessing thats not possible. I guess I wouldn't mind installing some mild stops to prevent rubbing, but nothing too extreme as the car is mostly street driven.
I run 2.85s on 9.5" wheels with DRM's set up and they just barely rub at full lock. That is with DRM's 5/8" spacers to move the wheels out to clear the big calipers.

so I run Hoosier R6 315's on 18 inch CCW wheels with a 1/4 inch spacer. I stay away from full turns and have not rubbed through the DRM's in 2 seasons of track time.
