Default HELP! headlights stopped working MF switch?

Ok, i need some help. My headlights stpped working about 3weeks ago.Lights will come on but will not pop up or go down(when lifted manually) everything else works foglights, turnsignals, dash lights ect.
First i heard it could be the headlight control module. i found a cf member that had one so i tried his and still nothing. Next i found a thread about the multifunction switch,so i followed this thread
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...errerid=229776
Got the switch out today and checked the connections.everything seems to be making contact. My question is are there certain contacts that control the headlight up/down function in the multifunction switch?
Can anyone show me these contacts or wires so maybe i can manually power them up to see if it will work that way? I don't want to take it to the dealer but i'm running out of options. Oh yeah i checked the fuses first.

These are MIKER's pictures,i hope he doesn't mind me usng them if so pm me and i'll remove them.

I appreciate any help and or suggestions

While you've been changing parts and taking apart switches, have you already done the appropriate voltage and ground checks using the schematics?

Thanks But it's all chinese to me.I'm handy with a wrench but not so much with blueprints and schematics. I was hoping someone could point out which connector in the mf switch is responsible for the headlight motor. But i will study this and see if i can figure something out

C1, Pin A, Circuit #103 should have 12V with headlamps on.

C1, pin C, Circuit 306 should have 12V with headlamps off.

C1, pins B&E, should have 12V at all times. (Circuits # 2940 And 3040

Check that, then post results, ok? (This is on the headlamp door control module.)

If you have a problem with this kind of troubleshooting, call me at 252-559-9787

I would have to condense a year of basic electronics and try to type it into one page in a post to help you fully understand that schematic and the theory that is needed to trouble shoot it.

I hate to have to say that. What I can do is talk you through it. If you can get a digital volt / ohm meter, study up on how to use it to take voltage readings and OHM readings and print off that schematic, I can PM you my phone number and TALK you Thur the process of figuring out where the fault is.

Thats the only way your going to logically be able to fix it. You could replace every part in the circuit and it still might not work. All it takes is ONE bad connection and NO WORKEY!!

So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,look for my PM reply. I saw your request for help PM!
