Default Injectors

I will be running a TSP Torquer V.2 cam in 2003 Z. It will have ported and polished heads, underdrive, headers, vararam, etc. Should I upgrade the injectors to 30 lb SVO injectors? These will push 36 lb on the LS motor. I currently have the stock 28lb injectors. The injectors will be at 90 % duty with the 430 to the wheels.

You will be running a cam...and already have hp #s to share?
Can you pick my lotto numbers for the Sat drawing please!! j/k

The stock injectors will likely exceed 100% IDC well below 430rwhp, so yes, the red top SVO's would be a wise purchase.

Lol I know Y2K. That is what Howard at Redline guesstimated. He suggested the 30 lb SVOs, so I just before I hit the "Buy" button, I wanted to get some input.

Injectors purchased, but one more question. I was planning on driving to the tuning shop about an hour away after cam swap. Will I no longer be able to drive the car there with new 30 lb injectors?

I had 28# injectors in my head/cam, forged '99 and IPS Motorsports immediately said that they were way too small. They installed 42# injectors and re-tuned and the car runs fantastic. SVO 30# will also work great for you. My buddy has a '03 Z with head/cam and runs 30# SVO.
