2-piece timing covers
When they first came out, I remember reading about people having problems with leaks. Have these issues been resolved?
It seems QTP charges twice as much as the Edelbrock equivalent. Is the Edelbrock just as good? I'm not interested in the QTP HV pump.
Are there any other manufacturers to consider?

I have one that was made by Arun from cdnperformance. I'd let it go for $100 shipped. I think I paid $175.
I didn't have any problems with it leaking. It is just a stock ls1 cover that was cut and two aluminum bars welded to it. It worked great when I swapped cams. I even had enough room for a double roller chain.
