Electrical issues
my first is my car (02 zo6) as i am driving down the road the voltage will reset.. my V1 which is hardwired will reset itself like the car just started. no motor issues or hiccups, just an electrical reset
secondly if i put the key in sometimes the car will start and then the fuel will cut out if i try to drive it.. crank it and it will drive normally.. do u think the key is screwing up and the car isnt handshaking?
also i just drove down to charleston on monday for a contract job and wed i went to start it up and it was completely dead. no power at all... went outside and punched the battery and it turned over like there was no issues. Now when i start the car and click on the AC the idle drops from 800 to around 400 and back up to 800.. very wierd.
all the cables are tight on battery, voltage is running about 13.8 and i dont see anything out of the ordinary.
any insight ??

What is a V1?
What do you mean you "crank it" while driving?
How do you punch the battery? Do you mean physically "hit" the battery?

V1 = Valentine 1 Radar detectorTheres more to the battery and cables than just being TIGHT!
Remove the battery cables and carefully examine the bolt, the battery terminal, and most importantly, the crimp connection under the rubber cover that connects the battery cables to the connector.
They can corrode and turn green over heat and melt the insulation etc..
The cables need to be properly TORQUED to the battery to 11 ft/lbs and when you push pull on the cable connection on the battery they should NOT rotate.
If the terminals check out fine, check the chassis ground at G-104/108 and make sure its clean and tight.
Follow the POS and NEG wires down to the starter and engine block. Make sure that there clean and tight. Its best to remove the wires and clean them. They are known to cause issues.
If all that check out fine, YES the ignition switch can and will cause issues like you seeing. Check out this post on checking and repairing your ignition switch:
