Default Difference between C-5 & C-6 Caliper

I am trying to improve my C-5 brake calipers. I am asking
anyone if they know the demensions of the C-6 Z-51
caliper? Are they better than the C-5 caliper. I have CCW
505A's 19x11 wheels and the rear calipers if changed
would require spacers if I use the C-6 Z-o6 caliper. The
C-6 Z-51 would fit according to John (CCW). Anybody
have other idea's about caliper's that are larger and
don't cost $4000 ?
Thank you for your help
Looking for better brakes.

The calipers are basically the same. The only differences between the C6 Z51 and the C5 Z06 brake setup are the caliper brackets and rotors.

BB packages can be pricey. My Wilwoods 6/4 were bought under $4000, and heck the C6 Z06 brakes are much cheaper, but the main issue with BB kits is that most will not fit a 17/18 wheel, so you're forced to get bigger wheels which compounds the cost.

The C6 front calipers have smaller fins on them than the C5s. Not sure about the rear.

I put the C6 Z51 brake kit on my car and love it. The bigger rotors look good, and there is no issue with my SP500's 18f 19r set-up.

Yes, because you get a bigger sweep area which in turns helps with disapating heat.

Look into the Wilwood 13" package for the street. The calipers are thinner than the race one's and will fit behind stock Z06 rims.

Also a more agressive brake pad, tire(R-compound) and brake fluid like Motul RBF 600 will help a lot.
