Hi Guys,
Tried searching for this but can't seem to find anything. The last three times I gassed up, my 02 vert will not start-up as usual. The starter engages but it will not fire up immediately. It takes a few tries and then starts, but it makes me feel that someday I'm going to be hanging out in a gas station. It only happens right after filling up, other than that it starts as usual. Any ideas? Thanks
After the engine is warmed up, have you tried to restart after waiting about five minutes without refueling? Try that if you haven’t yet. If the condition persists WITHOUT refueling, than you can eliminate the fill up as a direct cause.
I’m going on the assumption that “maybe” you never had occasion to restart after only five minutes of shut down.

You may be on to something Timemender. Although I have run it locally and shut it down and then restarted, it may not have fully warmed up. But if it does re-occur when fully warmed or after fill, are there any ideas out there? Thanks
