I believe they are correct in my case. Same thing happened to a buddy of mine on the same day at the track, he broke his main shaft but his diff survived only damaging the ring and pinion.
when you get everything built back up, get the trans brace. It is there to prevent that chain reaction.
had one if you are referring to the DTE brace. I lost the driveshaft, cracked the bell housing, broke the trans main shaft and lost the diff case all in one pop.
The car has a built stage 3 diff, built trans with stock main shaft, DTE brace and stock torque tube.

Yeah, those pics really help. Based on the way the output shaft is galled (and the direction), I still think the case failed first, and took out the trans.

Sorry for your misfortune.
So what about Kurtomacs and Chris Stewarts which both broke at the same angle, same location and their cases survived just fine?

Just a hypothesis on my part. Looking at Kurtomacs pics, while the trans shaft failed, it clearly snapped...unlike yours.
If you feel confident that the trans took out your differential, that's all that really matters...after all...it's your car...and more importantly....your money.

Ok how did mine break then since you seem like you were there and had cameras in my drive train. You also seem to act like you know more about the situation than the builders and reps of RPM and Tick Performance.
