Look at the sticky up top first. Symptoms?

You might want to fill in your profile and give us a hint on what is the recall status of your car and/or what problems you are having.

The first step is to determine what you have..
Does your column still lock with the key off?
Do you still hear the actuator cycle when you turn the ignition on or off?

Agree, look at the sticky. But, bottom line is that you have to either 1) add a CLB or 2) remove K harness and install a CLB. Another option is to have lock plate removed (could already be removed by a recall) and program gas cutoff to 255 mph.

Consider all other GM recalls as temporary fixes, they eventually WILL go bad.
