remove cats, get a 427, raise compression to 15:1 range, and never run pump gas again....
there are several other factors but those are the key ones haha. Its gonna be hard to get a "low" compression 347 sound like a high compression 427 with race exhaust.
Start with a really good catback, borla/corsa/LG...and see what you think about that. If you want it louder go with headers and a xpipe and maybe no cats.

Side pipes
on a street car, a nice 427 with 590 hp and 650 lbft of tq, 6500 red line, no X pipe, sequential transmission

Mufflers? dont need no stick'n cats or mufflers.
