I think thats what its called. LOL Anyhoo.. I have a B&M Ripper short throw and its really notchy and has been that way since I bought it. Im looking for the mod you do in the tranny that will help the shifter shift smoother. I remember you take a bolt out and a spring comes out behind it then you reinstall the bolt minus the spring. DOes anyone here know of a link with pics so I can do this this weekend? Thanks!
I had the B&M as well and did this mod. It did make a difference, much easier to get out of gear. I will have to say though, the notchy movements never went away and I got tired of it being such a pain to get in reverse and first gear. So, out it came and I replaced it with a C6 Z06 shifter from GM partshouse. Awesome mod, much better shifting. Yes, the throws are longer, but at least I can get it in gear consistently. In my humble opinion, best of both worlds. Good luck.

I thought the idea of going to the c6z06 shifter was for smoother AND shorter shifts??
