Hate to beat a dead horse but I`m waiting for the new gear to arrive & was wondering if anyone knows anything about turning the gear around to be able to make it work a while longer? Seems like I saw where someone has done that before . Thinking maybe disconnecting the acuator & turning the manual **** 180 deg. would do it? Has anyone heard of this? Thanks Dennis. P.S.This forum is great!
I've got a brand new brass gear sitting here going to waste. If you wish to drive up the 15 a short bit, you can have it.
Thanks for the replies, I will give a try to turn the gear 180 deg. before changing the gear. dgrant, thanks for the offer, can`t hurt to have a spare gear in case the other one [driver`s] starts acting up. Let me know when its convenient for you & I`ll cruise up that way. Thanks, Dennis.
