Key fob acting weird
I bought a new key fob for a 98' from the dealer and had it for about 6 months. Then it started to do this weird thing where i would be walking around the house with the remote in my pocket or even just have the remote sitting on the table, and hear the horn honk saying i just locked the car. Cant remember if it was losing sync or not. I tried reprogramming it through the dic, tried turning the passive off, and looked at the circuit board, all connection look good including the six that most people have problems with. Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like your passive lock is on. The toggle switch on the top of the FOB says on/off. Mine gets dirty and does the same thing. I blow it out and cycle it a few times on/off and then leave in the off position. Fixes my problem.
