Security light on when driving...
Hey everybody hope you had a nice Easter.On my way home from church yesterday I noticed my security light was on and I remember just enough from a prievious thread to think thats bad.When I got home I shut her off and fired back up and no security light and it didd'nt come on on my way to work this am.I tried the search function but no luck.Thanks in advance>

Long shot but do you carry a bunch of stuff on your key ring?
One guy had a problem with all the extra weight unseating the key so the resistor pellet wasn't making contact and bringing on the security light
Try it with just the key and see if its better. If so you might need to use the spare key (or lose the bling).
The other issue could be a worn ignition barrel

I was coming home on the interstate from a long trip and hit what must have either been a land mine or an IED. 
Knocked the crap out of the car and scared the heck out of me. That caused my security light to come on and it stayed on until I got home, shut the car off, and started it again. It's been well over a year now and haven't seen it since.
