Default Engine Ticking

On start ups the engine sounds like a sewing machine, is that just because there isnt much oil flow to the springs and rockers yet? It gets a little quieter after its been running a while but I can still notice it if I check. Would a heavier weight oil help?

Aluminum blocks and heads have less of a sound deadening effect than steel parts. My heavier valve springs make the sewing machine sound even worse. Just sounds more like an old flat tappet cam shaft installed.
