Predator in C5´99
Hi guys,
I´ve just adquired an "old series" Diablosport Predator from a seller in Ebay.
It shows a picture with a list where are several models of cars which are supported by this, among these, is the Vette C5´99.

I´ve a doubt, because the seller used it in a Trans-Am... i´ve heard something about "locked", "VIN", "version" (this is 1.03)... and my doubt is: could i use it in my Vette??? I just want to modify some parameters like shift points, coolant temp... not to download a complete program from diablosport webpage.

Versions 2.XX and beyond are transferable but the stock tune needs to go back to the first car first.
The only way to use it is to contact diablosport and send it in. They have a new upgrade program and you might be able to send it in for $99.00 and get the newest upgrade. But is needs to go in to do it, not a downloadable deal. Hope you paid $100.00 or less for it.

I'm not sure about the particular model you have, but the model I had at one time for my 04, C5 let you use it on another car as long and you returned the car you used it on, back to the stock tune.
Just try it. If you are locked out it will tell you right away.
