I've heard the 1 3/4" American Racing Headers install very easily. I bought the 1 7/8" and wanted to know if they are much more difficult to squeeze in.
The install wasn't that bad. The driver's side slipped right in. The passenger side gave me a little more trouble but still not bad. I disconnected the starter wiring to install it and I think the hardest and most painful part of the install was reconnecting everything once the header was in.
Get the car as high as possible to make life a little easier.
I didnt touch the motor/motor mounts when I installed my 1 7/8 ARH. The driver side went right in...the passenger side, I had to remove the starter and once the header was in I dropped the header down a few inches to slip the starter back into place. I also removed the coil packs to give me more working room, plus they are easy to get on/off
Is 6 feet high enough? (I have a lift) Did you have to raise the motor for either side?
You suck! LOL. Just kidding. Should be cake. I raised the driver side slightly to slip the passenger side header in but I don't think it was really necessary.

No they both go in from the bottom if your using a lift you should'nt need to remove the starter just the wires make sure you have someone to hold the ac lines back while you slide the pass side in
