6.0 block build question
Okay you stoker motor guru's..... I found a 6.0 liter block locally and was wondering......
What the actual cubic inch displacement of a 6.0 motor ??
And what size stroker can I build with the 6.0 block ?

You might be able to get a 421, but I personally wouldn't. You need to have the block checked prior to going past 4.030" to ensure that it can be bored passed that.
I also wouldn't run more than a 4" stroke -- the 4.1" strokes tend to cause problems fairly regularly.
The actual displacement of a stock 6.0L is 364ci -- 4 bore, 3.625 stroke
Common stroker builds off this platform are:
4.030 bore , 3.625 stroke= 370ci
4.000 bore , 4.000 stroke = 402ci
4.030 bore , 4.000 stroke = 408ci
Less common:
4.030 bore , 4.1 stroke = 418ci
4.040 bore, 4.1 stroke = 421ci
Most pistons for these builds use 6.125 rods, but I've recently seen pistons for the 6.098 rods starting to surface as well.

So the best I can hope to accomplish is a 402 or 408...... Now I'm wondering if I should just let it go and save the cash for TSP 427 or 454.......

The 454 requires a 4.1" stroke (which is why I have a 427 in the truck instead of a 454 or larger)
