Oh believe me, so am I. Trust me when I say I was VERY wary of the car going by the wayside like happened with my old black 93 Trans Am that sat for 3+ years before I finally gave up and sold it. That was ALWAYS playing in the back of my mind.

She's bathed, and ready to go!!!! Nothing beats an early morning light wash to really bring out the color in a paint.

No baseline today. Never occured to me to ask Joe what he tunes with. Car has a custom OS EFI Live tune, and Joe uses HP Tuners and can't read it. So.....

Going back tomorrow and he's bringing a buddy out with a Tech II. Reflash to stock, starting from scratch.

Good news is other than a couple of oddball noises (rattle to my rear left, fuel tank area, probably a line or something, and chirping pulley up front) and being lean EVERYWHERE (W/B pegged at top, 16.0), the car runs and drives fine. Surges all over the place, but that should change tomorrow hopefully.

Got the baseline today, car drives 100% better. Has some idle issues though, and a nasty start up flare that we're thinking is the ported stock TB. For some reason though (I'm thinking heat soak because the car was hot) as I started it to leave the shop it kicked a Evap Solenoid code (wasn't tuned out but is removed with 97-98 system conversion) and started dumping fuel on teh right side.

Drove by PBJ today and saw your car (and presumably you). I have a stock TB if Joe wants to swap it. I live 2 blocks away.

Was that you with the what sounds like a blower that drove by????? May take you up on that offer..........I'm going to pull my TB today and see how much space is around the blade......I may try to just have a custom blade cut and see if that doesn't help.

No blower for me. Your car was in front of bay #2 and two guys were standing by the driver's door.

It's no sweat for me to drop mine off. Just LMK.

That was you that I saw then I think. Pulled out and made a right to go by shop? Sounded like there was a blower in there.

I have the full tune scheduled for the 7th. If we could just borrow the TB that day and then go from there that would be cool. I'll send you a PM.
