Default what does this code mean?

C-1233 H C

I'm going through the "service traction control / ABS" trouble shooting. I cleared my codes and this is the only one that stayed on. I'm hoping my problem is just a wheel speed sensor.

Thanks in advance
Steve

That's it, RF wheel speed sensor. Check the connector at the wheel.

I found an almost complete list of codes on the digitalvette site, easy to find the list. However I am also stuck with a code I dont have a description for:

C0615 h c and C0620 h c . Can anyone help with these please.

Its OK, I found out what the codes mean. I was pointed to the 2003 list of od codes. they relate to suspension position.

I double checked my codes when I got home and now in addition to C1233HC (RF wheel speed sensor) I have C1283H (??? couldn't find it anywhere ) and B2723HC (Pass key detection circuit).

Would a bad speed sensor cause the other two codes?

Yes, a C1233 could cause the C1283.

DTC C1283 Excessive Time to Center Steering

Circuit Description
Steer angle centering is the process by which the EBCM calibrates the steering sensor output so that it reads zero when the steering wheel is centered. The initial steering wheel center position is calculated after driving 10 km/h (6 mph) for more than 10 seconds in a straight line on a fairly level surface. The EBCM uses the Yaw Rate Sensor, Lateral Accelerometer and Wheel Speed Sensors to tell if the vehicle is moving in a straight line. This centering routine is necessary to compensate for wear in the steering and suspension. Wear in the steering and suspension can result in a change in the relationship between the steering wheel and the front wheels. By running the centering routine the EBCM can compensate for these changes by changing the digital and analog center position.

The B1273 could be as simple as a dirty key pellet or a sign of ignition mechanism issues.

DTC B2723 PASS-Key Detection Circuit

Circuit Description
The BCM supplies a 5 volt signal and a ground circuit for the PASS-Key® system. This allows the BCM to detect PASS-Key® resistance values. Inserting the PASS-Key® (with resistor pellet) in the ignition lock cylinder completes the PASS-Key® circuit. Contacts in the ignition lock cylinder mate with the pellet contacts. The BCM compares the resistance value of the key pellet to the valid resistance programmed into the BCM. If the proper resistance value is read, the BCM allows the following functions to occur:

The theft deterrent relay to energize.
The steering column to unlock.
The BCM sends a message through the serial data line to the PCM to allow fuel enable processing to occur.
If the resistance value is incorrect, a malfunction is present and a DTC will set.
