Since you have the heads off, I would vacuum test the intake/exhaust ports on the cyclinder with low compression, then disassemble that cylinder and make sure the Valves/springs etc are within spec.
If you find no problems, I would suspect something to do with the lifters or other valvetrain parts. If a worn/broken ring was causeing the low compression I don't beleive it would be making the ticking noise, unless of course the ticking, and low compression are two seprate issues?
i´m starting to suspect this is two seprate issues, because, the heads/valve is in perfect condition, went today to pro-shop here in heads and engin parts, and they took allt valves out and found nothing wrong, so i´m starting to wonder , what can it be, can it be the lifters, i can´t see nothing wrong whith them, can they the issue , though i can not see nothing on them, how can i test that???
when i took the flycut in the pistons we did change all the piston rings and we honed the cylenders. so it´s very sad if the air i going down.....
this looked at first to be a small thing, but i lookes now like it is something big... big.....problem....
