Default got a new perspective on automatic vettes today

So I just finished my first auto vette build for a buddy of mine today and before I drove this car I allways thought auto c5 coupes were well..... kinda lame. This car however was not lame and actually kinda makes me want an auto in my zo6........ well maybe

I installed PRC ported 5.3 heads, 224/228 cam, pushrods, springs ect.. ls2 chain and LS3 oil pump, LG headers with cats, Ti exhaust, FAST 90 w/ ls2 TB, and a 3200 stall if I remember correctly.

I allmost think I like this car on the street more than my AFR/ G5X3/ FAST 90/90 set up.

The car is super fun to drive with the stall, feels like it will make some good power on the dyno tomorow (will post numbers) it rides way nicer than my z (i know the z isnt a luxury car) and wasnt expencive to build by any means. Owner probly spent a little over 3K for all the parts (some were used)

here is the finished product..... still needs a cleaning haha

Here are a few pics from the stall installation (didnt take enough to make a how to)

Summit underdrive pulley installed (its actually a nice unit )

Drove my buddy's home when he picked up another vet. I was impressed with it to a point,,but still prefer my M6. Could maybe live with an A6 with paddle shifter as a second car!!

Great job! Thanks for the report and the good words about A4's.

As an 03 Coupe owner I can attest that a well tuned engine and trans can be a huge kick in the azz to drive. The car is mellow if you want and hits hard and fast when you get on it. You can still shift if you want as long as you don't get too High-RPM crazy in the downshifts. I don't run a trans cooler. I have yet to see trans temps higher than 205, even in the summer months

... and again sweet build you did.
