Sealt motor running???
Anyone have a problem with the electric seat motor (99 FRC) running while driving?
I drove car today and yesterday after sitting in the rain and the motor was very warm, it was trying to move the seat while I was driving without touching the switch. I talked to a buddy today and he has a 98 coupe that the battery kept going dead and he traced it to the same thing, the seat motor running when he parked it for a few days..............Touching the switch, you can move the seat forward, to the stop, let go of the switch nad the seat will inch itself back until it's against the bulkhead..

My `01 passenger seat was doing the same thing. I removed the circuit breaker to stop the battery drain and later discovered the seat switch had shorted out. I replaced it and everything's been good since then. I took the old switch apart and I could see where it had shorted out. Looked like it had been wet at some time.
