Hypertech programmer
I have a hypertech programmer that came with my car when I bought it. The box isn't even opened yet. My car is a 99 FRC 6spd. all I have done is a Vortex cold air intake. Is it even worth programming, and If so what exactly can I expect.

The Hypertech's dont really do much. they allow you to change small things, but nothing that will make a difference. Most shops charge $500 for motor cars and $550 for power adder setups. That is where you will see all the difference. These cars run rich from factory, leaning it out a little goes a long way.

It's most useful for changing cooling fan set points, and on A4 cars, adjusting shift points and shift firmness. Like others have said, the tune doesn't do very much.
