If you want a no hassle all included in package deal then I have to say DynaTech are the choice for me.The hi-flo cats are included with the package.
Hope this helps.

When I first installed my headers (Kooks) I ran them through the stock exhaust mid section with the stock cats, an x-pipe and a Corsa touring exhaust. I noticed an improvement in the feel of the car but later I removed the stock mid section and stock cats and installed the Kooks midsection with hi flow cats and Kooks x-pipe.

What a difference. I can't say what the hp gain was but the car was able to break the tires loose every time I punched it from a slow roll (A4) or a stop. It never did that before with the more restrictive exhaust.

After a tune with just the bolt ons it dynoed at 345 rwhp, 365 rwtq.

If you are going to do the headers then get the complete exhaust with hi-flow cats. You already have an x-pipe and I think the best cat-back so the headers and hi-flow cats should really make a difference.

If you go with the Kooks, they make a real nice mid section with metal matrix hi-flow cats and an x-pipe built in. You won't be disappointed. The install was a piece of cake and the fitment was perfect.

I have a 3" Stainless Works Header system on my 02 ZO6 now. There great headers and fit and function flawlessly. Very good header system!

I just installed a 3" American Racing style Headers (ARH) on my wifes 06 Coupe. WOW,,,Impressive system. If my stainless works headers vanished today, there would be ARH headers in there tomorrow!!

The BALL and Socket collector to mid-pipe connection is EXCELLENT!

My vote is an ARH system!

Is your car for on road use in a state that does emissions testing?
IF yes and yes you need high flow cats (emissions)

the top 3 selling brands (alpahbetically) for the C5 are American Racing, Kooks and LG. You won't go wrong with any of them.

AR are supposedly the easiest to install, which was important since I was doing a self install.

I chose American Racing (AR) they have it all
power across the band, fit, finish, sound, price

Long tube headers will give you the rumble you want and more HP to boot. There are many brands available and and there is really no one size fits all in that they all have a place for different set ups. With long tubes you will have to replace the cats and x-pipe as part of the install unless you want to cut and weld. Headers are normally purchased as a package including Hi-flow cats and an X-pipe. You can opt to run without cats but I would recommend installing hi-flow cats. I run Melrose headers and love em.

Here's another vote for American Racing Headers.

When they were asking you about emissions, they were asking about cats and AIR tubes.

Thanks for the Kind words guys. If you buy a system from us it will not work with the Corsa X-pipe. Our system was designed as a complete unit and is designed to work with all the popular catbacks. I don't know of any long tube systems that will work with that X-pipe.
