Need advice on ignition problem!!!!!
Went out to start my 00 coupe and when I turned the key to start it nothing no sound no clicking like weak battery. When I turn the key to accessory all gauges on DIC read as normal but when I turn to start they all go off. I turned key back off and tried it by holding key in start position and the car started. I THINK i have an ingition problem battery is strong[load tested it] doesn't act like a starter problem no drag when it does start. Has anyone else had this problem

My guess would be a bad ground, or ignition switch. There is a good “How Too” by Bill Curlee you can find by doing an advance search on both ignition switch and Bill Curlee.

I agree with the ignition switch. Just by chance, if the security light on the IP Cluster was flashing, it may have only been the pellet not being read. Another thought is if its a manual tranny, then the clutch switch would possibly need looking at.
