got about 900 miles or so since i had ECS install a header/tune package on my 01. Now when i get the car warmed up and driving around....getting on the throttle a little bit you get that bad smell that a plugged up cat smells like. Anyone expierence this before??. I did an oil change (moble1) bout 250 miles ago so thats brand new.
yea tuner turned off the 02 codes so they wouldnt through a check engine...cause MA is horrible with inspections now. I had high flow cats installed....no precats..

You should doublecheck this info, but I believe that "turning off" rear o2 sensors stops engine management from adding fuel to control cat temps.
If you are still running cats, even hiflows, why not leave rear o2s in place. When I added Kooks headers/hiflow catted X-pipe to my C5, I reinstalled same o2s where they were previously. Then I purchased a Diablo Predator tuner, dialed in my fuel trims as per the DiabloSport website, and added their performance tune, and have not had any problems or codes in over 500 miles of spirited driving.
