If the shorty's are for your year vette and you have an otherwise stock exhaust system, they basically take the place of the stock exhaust manifolds and bolt right up.....

My B&B shorty's bolted right up to my exhaust, fairly easy job..

Good luck...

You shouldn't need anything to connect shorties to your exhaust system. However, if you're doing this for performance improvements, don't waste your time. Shorties won't add very much power, possibly not even 10 hp more. Sell them and buy long tubes if you're looking for a worthwhile performance increase.

I got 18 hp and 12 TQ out of my shorties. Deleted cats, added crossover and bullet mufflers. Went LT when I did heads and cam. For the money and on a stock motor you cant beat the investment. Very good Hp per dollar.

One thing that I remember is that I had to get some bolts to make the header to exhaust connection. The stock bolts would not budge out of the manifolds.

good luck on your project
