I am installing a brand new 416 LS3 long block in my car and from what I hear I cant use the stock LS1 valve covers without modifying the baffles. I figure now is the time to get the valve covers I want and relocate the coils. What are my options for coil relocation? Looking for something good and not to expensive. What are my options? I want to go with the GM parts performance valve covers that say Chevrolet. Anybody know the part numbers.
Are you going to change your user name to RonnieLS3?
Sorry, can't offer any suggestions to your question, but wondering if you plan on sharing any photos of your installation process of your new LS3? Is your crank 58X or 24X incoder?
Hoping it all goes smooth for you, sound like a great project!
GMPP cover with no fill/breather hole is 25534399, with hole is 25534398. I'm in the process of doing this myself along with a number of other underhood mods. I'm leaning towards the "in the fenders" placement detailed in THIS THREAD.
