Default Need Advice on Launching!!!

I just put on 2 rear Eagle F1 Supercar tires (love em btw ), and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on launching include at what rpm. Im putting down 351 rwhp

I know most of you will say the best advice to give is to practice and try for yourself, but i will be going to the track with several friends who love to talk s*** on american muscle, i wanna show them whatsup

Thanks!

Since you are on street tires, this would be the best tutorial for you. If you really want to shake down your friends, get some drag radials and launch at 5000 rpm.

That's what I do and results are in my sig.

Best of success at the track. And remember practice is what will make you better

Certainly you can break something launching that high.

I didnt launch that high my first time out. I would guess it took my 25 - 30 runs before I was comfortable launching at that RPM.

The Launch is all about the clutch release. Do not dump the clutch. A quick controlled release is what it takes. Keep the RPM at what ever level you are comfortable with and release the clutch. Once the clutch is fully released, than mash the throttle to the floor.

Best of success!

PS I guess I assumed you have a 6 speed. (perhaps from another thread)

If you have an A4, disregard all my posts. For I know nothing about the stab and steer group
