Lowering question and venting
First of all let me say I love this forum!! However, I remember seeing a thread about how to make the forum better. A search function that works would be a great improvement. I love it when people say use the Search but when I search for lowering c5 it brings up everything from plane crash in the hudson to a convertible top issue on a c3 they should at least narrow it to the section you are looking for. The search is impossible to use. Maybe there is a sticky on how to use the search and I missed it but I will try to search for it.
Now that I feel better could someone please link me to some info on the procedure for lowering on stock bolts and recommended lowering amounts for front vs rear? Thanks in advance!
Update : Okay so I am impatient and mentally impaired occasionally. I have discovered the advanced search function and have been enlightened. Only the basic search is useless. For all the great people that remind us to use the search please mention the advanced search so the people like me that ride the short bus wont be so confused.
BTW I found my info so I dont need a link

OK. I agree that the search tool isn't nearly as robust as it needs to be. However, make sure that when you're in the Tech section for instance, that you click Search This Forum (upper right), that's critical. I just did so, typed lowering, and came up with a page of threads.
