Electronic HVAC display not lighting up
Hello forum members,
I got a 1999 and the electronic HVAC control works but the LED display is not lighting up. The radio display is fine so I believe it must be internal instead of a dimming issue. A new unit is about $500+ list price and really do not want to go there if I do not have to. I found an earlier post dealing with the lights being dim, but there is no display showing at all. I have the factory service manuals but it doesn not appear that there is any text dealing with this issue, or at least I have not found it in the manual...yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
