Default installing tick master cylinder

Hey guys. need some help!! installing the master on the vette while i have the clutch out and its pretty straight forward im about done but i was wondering about the return spring on the clutch pedal do you keep this in? ive seen photos with it in but ive read that people have taken it out i looks like the spring would hit the master rod when the clutch is to the floor. and the plastic cup that goes on the master from the resevor does how does it hold a seal with just plast to the master is there a gasket for that?

Yep, on my Tick MC the spring rubbed on the turnbuckle. I removed the spring and its working perfectly. It will be a bit heavier clutch though. Also note its not a 'return' spring, its a helper spring, it helps with the effort to push the pedal.

The clutch pedal spring is dual acting.
