That is for the MAP sensor. I installed an elbow and moved the MAP sensor around the corner. LPE also makes a relocation kit. With the options available, there is no need to modify the firewall on the car.

If you have the Coolant Crossover on the rear you need to delete it otherwise the intake wont fit/seal correctly.

the delete kit consist of special oval blocks. Call FAST and they should be able to direct you to a Rear Coolant Crossover Delete Kit.

But if you want to be cheap you can just cut the pipe close to the stock blocks on each side. then abraise whats left of the piping shut.

I installed a FAST 92 on my 99. I did replace the cooling tubes under it. The two rear ports have plugs now, and the front just has a lone between them, with a 'T' fitting.

My MAP sensor fit fine in the hole in the rear of the manifold. I used RTV to seal it, and hold it in place, since it did not have the same setup as the factory manifold. I've had my manifold off the car several times, and the MAP sensor is still rock-solid.
