The difference between the Z51 and Z06 springs and sway bars is the ZO6 springs are stiffer and the sway bars are larger in diameter. Yes they will bolt up directly to your C5.

In a thread published here months ago one of the owners of Pfadt racing, a vendor here and manufacture of some excellent suspension parts for racing and the street, responded to a question similar to this saying that for the C5 unless you put on wider wheels and tires the best fit for the C5 was C6 Z51 sway bars. A lot of forum members have put the C6 Z51 sways and either Bilstein shocks or C6 Z06 shocks and left the stock C5 springs on their cars and been very happy with this combination. This would also be the cheaper way to go, and you might be able find some of the stuff used in the C6 Parts forum.

^^I was thinking along similar lines. From the OP's profile looks like he has a 98. Might want to look at C6 Z06 shocks and C6 Z51 sway bars from Gene Culley (he's a supporting vendor on the forum). I think the shocks are around $240 and the bars around $200. Buy some used
C5 Z06 springs and your ready to go!

Don't forget to take the car to suspension shop and have them properly set-up the suspension for you.

IMO unless you have specific needs I would go the route of the previous poster. C6 Z51 sways and C6 Z06 shocks. Leave the springs for last. I would go with a softer spring, the ride will be better. The shocks and sway bar will be a huge improvement without causing a harsh ride. I'd contact Gene @ www.gmpartshouse.com

What size tire? I have some 19x11's and wondering if a 305/30/19 will work/clear on my lowered FRC.
