$26 Chip or $26 Jip?
ShockwavePerformance Stage 3 Module for $25.99 on ebay --- supposed to improve performance and mpg after a five-minute install.
Anyone out there tried this thing?
Sounds too good to be true... so it probably is a joke.

AND GM, with their engineers and $millions wouldn't develop this why?
Not likely a "real" improvement.

This is likely the resistor that they suggest you put in the ambient air sensor to richen the fuel mixture. Its not a chip, its a Rube Goldberg scam.

Buy it...between that and a cup holder and tire valve stem caps, you're into some serious performance improvements...

you could also edit the throttle position up 5-10% and get raving tuning reviews

This kind of product promotion that Ebay allows earns them the name "cheese bay". Never believe a ad because they say so. In fact the usual approach is to discount their claims and see why it works using a internet site. I bet it is a shame.
