Here's my air prob on my 2000 coupe. The air doesn't blow as hard as it did. It does not respond to the various control options (defrost, footwell, face, etc) Seems to be one speed. I do have codes popping up, but I haven't pulled them yet. On a side note, I recently had the oil sensor switch replaced. This air problem and codes cropped up within a day of that work completion. Could there be some correlation?
theres a small vacuum tube on the rear of the intake mani that is tied into some part of the AC system. I wonder if that didnt get reattached after your oil sensor repair job?

My 98 was like that for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time till I saw posts on here about the vacuum line. There is also a check valve located just inside the passanger fender. Take out one screw to access it. The new check valve at the dealer is over $6 but the SAME VALVE in the HELP section of Advance Auto is about $3.50. Took me a while to find the supply line inside the wiring harness coming across from the engine.
Remove battery and battery holder (4 bolts on this one) mix up at least a gallon of baking soda and water and apply LIBALLY to EVERYTHING under the battery. I went back pretty far to replace the hard plastic line with windshield wiper hose. First time just cut off an inch or so.
Lasted a WEEK then another piece disintegrated. Do it right and you are back in business.BIGHANK
