Does Amsoil 75w90 require friction modifier?

Does Amsoil 75w90 require friction modifier?
It says to add it if you experience clutch chatter. What are you guys doing? I know many synthetic fluids come w/ the modifier already installed.

May be it comes with it, but it dont hurt 7-8 bucks bottle from GM, i added 1 4Oz GM friction bottle along with RP 75W90 last year and still had no problem and rear end is happy and iam happy.

I just changed oil in my diff with AMSOIL 75W-90 and did not use any modifier. My diff does not have any chatter. Recommendation I got from an AMSOIL distributer on the forum recommended to try it without and it seems fine.

GM came out with a new differential fluid with the correct amount of friction modifier already premixed. the part # is 88862624. this is the stuff they use in the c6 and its supposed to be the best. i put it in my diff and it works great!

The AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 comes with friction modifier already in it and extra is not normally needed in C5s to prevent diff chatter. I use this fluid without extra additive in both my 02 C5 Z06 track car and in my 06 Cadillac CTS-V and neither diff chatters.
That said, the C6 seems to need a bottle of AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive.
