Default Manaul to Auto Conversion Wiring HELP Please

Does anyone know who switched over from manual to auto on a 2002 Z06 C5. I need help as far as what wires that I need to tap into and run and shift properly. Its a race car and no need for reverse lights or brake pedal to put in gear. Do i Need to run a netural safety switch if I use a race ratchet shifter?????
Thanks to everyone who can help me.... Please lots of detail or pictures

Sounds like you should have installed a tranny controller. If you don't hook everything up using the stock sensors, parking, etc .... You're going to have a lot of problems.

Are using a manually shifted tranny ?

I did the conversion but I need a little more info from you to help.

What year car, model, etc ... Did you use an A4 harness ?

To get the car to crank (start) you'll need to run the purple & yellow wire from the clutch safety switch to the rear selector switch unless you don't care and then you can just connect the two together and the car will start anytime the key is turned, (i.e. no safety)

What the purple and yellow wire do at the clutch safety switch is the same as the automatic except that they are located on the switch in the back (Gear Selector Switch Indicator).

So by jumping them together you eliminate the park safety switch. Car should fire right up.

THe work that is needed (wiring) is for the PCM to control the tranny. Based on your purpose you might want to go with a stand alone controller box. It will probably save you a lot of headache.
