Here is a link to an install writeup that may offer a little help. At least it has some good pictures. Tick MC Install

There is a threaded rod that comes out of the MC and into a turnbuckle. Then a seperate threaded rod comes out of the other end of the turnbuckle and goes to the clutch pedal. What you want to do is turn the tunbuckle (can't remember if it is clockwise i.e. 'righty tighty' or counter clockwise) to shorten the overall length. If you want to start from the begining just unscrew both threaded rods from the tunrbuckle completely and then start them back in and then only turn the turnbuckle (dont turn either rod). This will put equal amounts of each rod into the turnbuckle. I believe the instructions say to start out with it in the shortest position. In reality I didn't need that, the pedal is too close to the floor like that. So I kept backing it out (increasing the overall length) until I had a comfortable position. HTH.

It engages roughly in the middle. I push on the pedal and it probably moves an inch or so before it engages (just a guess, really haven't attempted to measure it). Yes I had to readjust the white cruise control switch, its screwed all the way in.
