Rims alone are worth around 100-150 a piece. I would take what ever the price of drag radials and take off for wear. 1/2 used = 50% of original price. I would be more concerned about gettting the rims. New drag radials are cheap (at least in comparison to EMT's)

Being as these tires were designed for the Ford Lightning, they are supposed to be much taller then the C5 tires. If that is true and they are 28" or more, then you will loose the rpm equivalent to one full gear ratio. Another words if you have 3.42's you will see the drag strip rpm equal to approx. 3.15's, and so on. Is this what you want ? What is the purpose of you using the Nitto's for, street or strip or both ?

The 18 inch were made for the Ford Lightnings. I have these exact tires on my C5 now. Paid $500.00 for both. My car has a little less than 400RWHP and I have no slipping problems at the track. I must warn you that they are worthless when it rains. That much tire on the ground causes the back end to float when there is water on the ground. Just giving you a heads up.
