Default Mild Performance Upgrade - product advice

Hello
I plan to make some mild performance upgraes to my 99 Vette. I'm going to go with a cold air intake, chip/tuner and cat back exhaust. For the cold air intake I was thinking of K&N and have used their products on onther cars and bikes. However I don't want to cut the shroud. Does anyone have expereince with BBK or Vaaram? Any suggestions on the chip/tuner? I was lookingat Borla for the cat backs. I don't want something that will produce a drone. Thanks

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Vaaram seems to have 2 types a standard type that sits in front of the shroud and a ram air that splits in 2 and goes to the fog lights? Which type do you have? Thoughts?

Lets TALK FACTS.

Allowing the engine to breath the coldest air possible will net the MOST HP.

I have a VARARAM and I am extremely happy with it. Makes excellent HP!

DO NOT purchase an exhaust system fo HP gains! PERIOD! Over the axel Exhaust changes will net you 4-8 HP Purchase it for SOUND improvements ONLY! If you like the sound of someones exhaust,,,,COPY it!

FACT! C5 & C6 Corvettes do NOT have replaceable CHIPS! You have to purchase TUNING Software or a Hand Held tuner.

If you have an AUTOMATIC Trans, a hand held tuner can allow transmission tuning that will net you a good seat of the pants performance increase.

The Two BEST choices that you can pick from for tuning software are EFI Live or HP Tuners. I use EFI Live commercial and love it!

Thanks do you have the ram air type? Most of the cold air intake companies are claiming anywhere from 10 to 20 RWHP
When I said chip I meant it as an expression. I was referring to a hand held programmer. A company called Superchip has a hand held programmerand claim 15RWHP and nothing to do with the tranny, its all a re-map
Borla claims at least a 15 RWHP and as a much as 34 RWHP with their Cat Back.

If we go with the various companies claims, the cold air, the programmer and cat back should give me 45RWHP?
