Default Pilot Bearing Question.

I bought a slightly used Textrilia Z Grip clutch. I didn't see a Pilot bearing, and seen on their website where the slave cylinder is sold with a "Thrust Race Bearing".

I have to buy the slave cylinder, but is this Race bearing the pilot bearing I would need? If not, where could I pick up one for this model of clutch?

Thanks!

Not sure what they are referring to but the pilot bearing is a GM part. I would buy from GM and install during the clutch swap. Careful on removal, don't use the old method of grease and a dowel you must use a blind puller. You can rent one from Autozone.

Also be careful of the plug in the block behind the pilot bearing. If you are not careful you can move it while pulling the old one or installing the new one and cause it to leak.

The slave cylinder had a throw-out bearing(aka thrust bearing) installed on it. The pilot bearing is installed into the crank. You should replace both. Also throw in a remote bleeder, if you can afford it.
