Default Cold Traction Control System

The other night I started up my car (it was about 20 degrees) and a message came on saying that the traction control was cold and had to warm up. I have never had this message come up before when its been colder (around 5-10 degrees). Just wondering if anybody else has seen this.

That is normal, no cause for concern.

I had the same thing for the first time last night too - my message was about active handling rather than traction control though. After 3 weeks of driving my owner's manual turned up in yesterday morning's post so I had a look in there. It confirmed that this was a perfectly normal thing to happen, particularly in cold weather. No worries, just don't welly it when it's cold !
